Clara Bay

Clara (she/her) is a PhD student working with Professor Alessandro Vespignani in the MOBS Lab. She is broadly interested in infectious disease modeling with metapopulation networks, controllability of global disease outbreaks, and performance evaluation of epidemic forecasts/predictions. Prior to joining the Network Science Institute, Clara worked as a research fellow at the U.S. EPA doing computational toxicology modeling research. She holds a B.S. in Applied Mathematics and Quantitative Biology from UNC Chapel Hill.
