With the goal of training a new generation of scholars, we offer pioneering interdisciplinary programs that equip students with the tools and concepts aimed at understanding the structure and dynamics of networks arising from the interplay of human behavior, socio-technical infrastructures, information diffusion and biological agents.
Our academic programming includes the first PhD program in Network Science in the U.S, a new Master of Science in Complex Network Analysis, and experiential co-op opportunities in complex systems across multiple campuses, attracting high-caliber students with a passion for networks.
Our programs
Network Science PhD
The Network Science Doctoral Program is a pioneering interdisciplinary program that provides the tools and concepts aimed at understanding the structure and dynamics of networks arising from the interplay of human behavior, socio-technical infrastructures, information diffusion and biological agents.
Complex Network Analysis MS
In the Master of Science in Complex Network Analysis program, students will build a strong foundation in complex network analysis, supplemented by domain-specific coursework in one of three specializations.
NetSI Research Co-op
Students in the NetSI Research Co-op Program explore how network science can model social, technical, physical, and epidemiological systems and solve applied societal problems.
Network Science Minor
The goal of the Network Science Minor is to introduce students to the theories, tools, methods, and topics within the emerging and growing field of network science.
