Developing the core theoretical frameworks of complex systems and their applications.

While intertwined with the other areas, this research area maintains a focus on developing the core theoretical frameworks and tools for understanding complex networks. This includes advancements in Network Geometry, Topology, graph embedding, the development of scalable algorithms for mining graphs.  This area also includes the statistical physics of networks, the study of higher order interactions in networks, and exploring Network Materials and their potential applications.
