Moritz Laber

Network Science PhD Student
lab website

Moritz (he/him) is a third year PhD student in the &-Lab supervised by Brennan Klein. Moritz is interested in the interplay of network science and machine learning. His research combines mechanistic and statistical modeling paradigms to better understand complex dynamical systems. He also uses insights from network science to design new efficient and reliable machine learning algorithms. Before joining NetSI, Moritz studied how supply shocks propagate on the global food production network. He received a BS and MS in Physics from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and a MS in Computational Science from University of Vienna.
