Mitch is a graduate student working with Dr. Briony Swire-Thompson in the Psychology of Misinformation Lab. He is broadly interested in how false beliefs interact with source credibility and how to encourage sustained belief in corrective information. In the past, he has worked on projects investigating how memory, metacognition, and source credibility contribute to false beliefs. Currently, he is funded by an NSF GRFP award. Outside of research, Mitch enjoys spending time with his family and friends, listening to music, and doing yoga.
