Jesseba (she/her) is a Network Science Ph.D. student working with Dr. Samuel Scarpino. She is broadly interested in learning and adaptation in both biological and artificial systems and how one can inform the other. Prior to joining the Network Science Institute, Jesseba worked on problems in molecular and systems neuroscience and computer vision. Her current work is aimed at bridging neuroscience and AI using tools from statistical physics and information theory.
