Nima is a first year PhD student in the MOBS lab supervised by Alessandro Vespignani. His interests broadly lie at the intersection of modeling, optimization methods, networks, public health policy and decision making, and international co-operation. Before joining NetSI he spent 2 years at the MRC Centre for Global Infectious Disease Analysis at Imperial College London where he worked on modeling the impact of attractive targeted sugar bait (ATSB) on mosquito vectors and malaria transmission in sub-Saharan Africa. He has a bachelor's degree in Natural Sciences and a master's degree in Systems Biology from the University of Cambridge.
