Minami is a first-year Ph.D. student at the Network Science Institute, supervised by Prof. Alessandro Vespignani. His research interests lie around modeling and understanding a wide range of human and social phenomena through interdisciplinary approaches, including network science, infectious disease epidemiology, and computational social science. Before joining NetSI, he obtained a Master of Public Health from Kyoto University, where he conducted research in infectious disease modeling, particularly focusing on the heterogeneity of risks to SARS-CoV-2 infection based on different types of human behavior. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Policy Management from Keio University, SFC.
